Peak Oil and UK Transport: Risks and Mitigation Strategies
Speaker:
Dr Oliver Inderwildi (Oxford University, Smith School of Enterprise & the Environment)
How will peak oil impact the UK transport system? What will happen if no mitigating action is taken? What options are there to prevent a reduction in mobility after peak oil? Addressing these questions will be Dr Oliver Inderwildi, Head of Low Carbon Mobility at Oxford University's Smith School, and co-author with Professor Sir David King of the 2010 peak oil study 'The status of conventional world oil reserves - hype or cause for concern?'.
