Shale Gas: An Energy Revolution Print E-mail

The emergence of shale gas has been hailed by some as an energy revolution which could boost UK energy security and substantially reduce carbon emissions. Critics, however, argue that shale gas's potential has been exaggerated and that drilling for shale gas has already caused serious environmental damage.
